Parents often tell to me they feel lost, disconnected and alone - like no one truly understands what their family is experiencing. They find themselves constantly questioning their parenting, unsure of what to do next.
The School Reconnection Pathway helps parents understand the practical steps of navigating school refusal or school can’t, offering a clear and supportive way forward when things feel stuck.
Through this process, parents begin to feel more confident, more connected to their child, and clearer about how to respond. What once felt overwhelming starts to feel more manageable - with small, meaningful steps toward re-engagement with learning.

Professional Background
I have experience working as a School Social Worker within the Department of Education in both Primary and Secondary schools, working with children and young people aged between 5-18 years. My role involved liaising with educators and families to improve student outcomes within the school setting and within their families. I loved working with children and so completed a Graduate Diploma in Primary School Teaching. I taught in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs. My Social Work skills partnered well with my teaching degree. After starting a family I completed the Associate training in MSL (Multisensory Learning). This evidence based training enabled me to work for myself tutoring students who had learning disorders like Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. Many of my students where autistic or had ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder).
I am always looking to upskill, and completed Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead course - How to teach Courage building skills. This enabled me to set up my business supporting families who are experiencing School Refusal & School Can’t.
